In the spirit of Saint Francis, we invite you to share your time and talents in caring for the St. Francis Spirituality & Retreat Center of Easton. Our volunteers are an important part of our mission, helping us provide a welcoming and peaceful place where individuals and groups can encounter God, be renewed, and experience the peace of Christ.

Whether you can serve regularly, occasionally, or on a special project, we invite you to consider joining our volunteer community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Hospitality & Guest Welcome
Welcome retreatants and visitors, assist with guest arrival and check-in, provide directions, and help create a warm and hospitable environment.

Retreat & Event Support
Assist with retreat and event registration, meeting room setup, hospitality areas, parking and guest directions, and special events.

Chapel & Sacristy Care
Help care for our chapels and sacred spaces, including altar linens, flowers, devotional areas, seasonal decorating, and preparation for liturgies.

Gardens & Grounds
Help maintain our beautiful grounds, gardens, outdoor Stations of the Cross, Reflection Pond area, pathways, and other outdoor prayer spaces through planting, weeding, watering, pruning, and seasonal cleanup.

Housekeeping & Retreat Preparation
Help prepare guest rooms and common areas for arriving retreatants, organize linens, make beds, and assist with retreat turnover.

Dining & Hospitality
Assist with setting tables, beverage and hospitality stations, dining room preparation, clearing tables, and resetting spaces for guests.

Office & Gift Shop
Assist with mailings, assembling retreat materials, organizing supplies, administrative projects, and supporting the Center's gift shop.

Skilled Trades & Special Projects
Share professional or practical skills such as painting, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, gardening, technology, photography, graphic design, or other specialized talents.

Seasonal & Special Events
Volunteer for special Masses, celebrations, retreat programs, seasonal decorating, fundraising activities, and other events throughout the year.

Group Service Days
Parishes, schools, campus ministries, families, Knights of Columbus councils, youth groups, and other organizations are welcome to inquire about completing a service project together at St. Francis.

Prayer Ministry
Support the mission of St. Francis through prayer for our retreatants, guests, staff, volunteers, benefactors, and all those who come here seeking renewal and peace.
